Curriculum

The Irish primary school curriculum is under a lot of change at the moment. We have the Primary Language Curriculum, introduced in 2019, which combines the teaching of English & Gaeilge.

Next came the Primary Maths Curriculum, which was implemented in September 2024.

Following on from that, the remaining subjects are grouped under the Primary Curriculum Framework and is due to be implemented in September 2025.
