• St. Brigid's Day

  This week the children have been learning about St. Brigid. The Junior Room designed their own St. Brigid's cloaks showing wonderful creativity with their designs. The children in 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th Class enjoyed working together to make their own St. Brigid's crosses.

   

  

• Christmas Performance/Fair

  Yesterday we had our Christmas performance, bake sale and Christmas fair.  Thank you to everyone who came and supported us so generously. We are so proud of the children between their enthusiastic performances, strong initiative and all the varied creativity on display.  Thank you to all the parents who assisted their children with the bake sale and the Christmas Fair items.  We raised an incredible €1700 for the school which was greatly needed and is greatly appreciated.

• Bí Cineálta Assembly

  On Friday, we had our Bí Cineálta assembly. Ms. Keen said a special thank you to our wonderful Bí Cineálta Committee from last year for all of their hard work in promoting and encouraging our Bí Cineálta Policy across the school. Congratulations to our new Committee members this year: Daire, Emma W, Sara, Pearl, Donnacha, Emma R, Noah and Jessica.

  Welcome back to all our students and we extend a very warm welcome to our new Junior Infants. We hope everyone had a lovely summer break. We’ve had a busy few weeks settling back into the school routine with lots of fun learning. Junior Infants have been getting to know each other and making new friends.
