• Farm Topic in the Junior Room

  Junior & Senior Infants are having great fun learning all about the farm. We have our very own Vet's Surgery which has been very busy helping all of our little animals. In Art, the children painted their own sheep and made paper plate cows. They have been setting up their own farms in our small world area and looking after all the farm animals there. Lots of fun learning. 

   

  

• St. Brigid's Day

  This week the children have been learning about St. Brigid. The Junior Room designed their own St. Brigid's cloaks showing wonderful creativity with their designs. The children in 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th Class enjoyed working together to make their own St. Brigid's crosses.

   

  

• Christmas Performance/Fair

  Yesterday we had our Christmas performance, bake sale and Christmas fair.  Thank you to everyone who came and supported us so generously. We are so proud of the children between their enthusiastic performances, strong initiative and all the varied creativity on display.  Thank you to all the parents who assisted their children with the bake sale and the Christmas Fair items.  We raised an incredible €1700 for the school which was greatly needed and is greatly appreciated.

• Bí Cineálta Assembly

  On Friday, we had our Bí Cineálta assembly. Ms. Keen said a special thank you to our wonderful Bí Cineálta Committee from last year for all of their hard work in promoting and encouraging our Bí Cineálta Policy across the school. Congratulations to our new Committee members this year: Daire, Emma W, Sara, Pearl, Donnacha, Emma R, Noah and Jessica.
